On June 7, 2023, Alpha Bank’s Management team hosted a virtual Investor Day event, to present and discuss with the investor community the Group’s achievements to date and its new Strategy for 2023-2025, towards a future of creating value and empowering growth for all.

Lazaros Papagaryfallou, CFO, talked through Alpha Bank’s strong performance over the past four years, resulting in a return to profitability – performance, that was supported by:

– balance sheet clean-up through NPE reduction to circa Euro 23 billion,
– capital buffer restoration through profit generation and synthetic securitization,
– profitability improvement driven by lower cost in risk,
– operational efficiency and
– sustainable growth in multiple business units.

Looking ahead towards 2025, Alpha Bank’s financial strategy focuses on accelerating value creation for shareholders. Key financial targets include a return on tangible equity to over 12% in 2025, and a cumulative Euro 2.3 billion of total capital generated across 2023-2025. Dividend payments will resume from 2023, and Tangible Equity will reach above Euro 7 billion in 2025.

Στις 7 Ιουνίου 2023, η Διοίκηση της Alpha Bank διοργάνωσε virtual Investor Day Event, για να παρουσιάσει και να συζητήσει με την επενδυτική κοινότητα τα επιτεύγματα του Ομίλου μέχρι σήμερα και τη νέα του Στρατηγική για την περίοδο 2023-2025, για ένα μέλλον που δημιουργεί αξία και δίνει ώθηση στην ανάπτυξη.

Ο Λάζαρος Παπαγαρυφάλλου, CFO του Ομίλου Alpha Bank, μίλησε για την ισχυρή απόδοση της Alpha Bank τα τελευταία τέσσερα χρόνια, που οδήγησε σε επιστροφή στην κερδοφορία, μία απόδοση που υποστηρίχθηκε από τους εξής παράγοντες:

– εξυγίανση του ισολογισμού μέσω της μείωσης των ΜΕΑ,

Με ορίζοντα το 2025, η χρηματοοικονομική στρατηγική της Alpha Bank επικεντρώνεται στην επιτάχυνση της δημιουργίας αξίας για τους Μετόχους. Οι βασικοί οικονομικοί στόχοι περιλαμβάνουν απόδοση των ενσώματων ιδίων κεφαλαίων άνω του 12% το 2025 και δημιουργία κεφαλαίου ύψους €2,3 δισ. σωρευτικά για την περίοδο 2023-2025.
