“I like this comparison that, you know, VC investing comes down to two things. You can invest in vitamins, or you can invest in pain killers vitamins, it’s nice to have good to have, but if you forgot to take your vitamins this morning, it’s probably not the end of the world.

But if you forget to take your pain killer, if you are in real pain, you’re gonna think about the fact that you forgot to take your pain pill, painkiller every single day. And I think when you think about impact companies or especially companies solving the climate crisis, those are painkillers.

And I think globally, there is just massive demand, on the buy side for solutions that help us tackle the climate crisis or help us transition into more sustainable territory. And that’s not gonna go away. We’re not gonna solve our climate crisis without these solutions. So I think the need is much, much clearer and stronger. And, hence we think that impact companies are more resilient in the downturns.”
