Looking Ahead for the L1: Part 1 Clean Code

Having clean blockchain code is vital in the world of crypto and web 3.0. In this series, we will explore the background and reasons for the upcoming improvements to our ecosystem.

In this first part, we will dive into the importance of clean code and why so much work has been done behind the scenes that may not be visible to our community yet. This will provide context for the changes that are coming. Parts two and three will cover the blossoms of clean code and the future of our layer one and how it benefits you as a participant in the Divi ecosystem.

As a crypto project, Divi has to accommodate several forces simultaneously, including the state of the crypto market, the regulatory landscape, and our commitment to betterment, uniqueness, and utility. Significant changes may happen in our ecosystem from time to time, and to make the most significant contribution to the community, we will be taking necessary actions to improve the layer one blockchain and lower infrastructure costs.

To understand these improvements, let’s introduce our elite blockchain engineer, Death by Janitorial Combat, who has been diligently working on our core for over three years. He has a master’s degree in mathematics, with experience in algorithmic modeling, statistical modeling, and software development.
