# **Students Changing Lives Through STEM Program at Imhotep Charter High School**

Welcome to FOX 29 Philly! In this video, we share an inspiring story about the incredible work being done by the students at Imhotep Charter High School through their STEM program. These young scholars are harnessing the power of 3D printers to bring clean water to communities in Mississippi and even as far as Ghana.

The STEM ambassadors from Imhotep Institute Charter High School were initially involved in aiding Jackson, Mississippi, during their water crisis. Now, they are taking their expertise to Ghana, where they will be helping over 3000 students across 10 different schools by designing, 3D printing, and distributing water filters. The impact these students are making is truly monumental.

Under the guidance of Posey, the STEM Director at Imhotep, these students are developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They are not just learning about coding and robotics, but also understanding how these tools can be used to solve real-world problems. Their dedication to making a difference is evident as they even collect sneakers from their community to donate to Ghana.
