**Community Care of St. Catharines, Thorold: Honoring Chuck’s Legacy with a Generous Donation**

Welcome to the big reveal of Chuck’s Truck, a brand new addition to Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold, generously donated by the Wise Guys Charity Fund. This truck holds a special place in our hearts as we remember and honor Chuck Smith, a beloved and dedicated friend of our organization who sadly passed away this summer.

Chuck was a true champion of our community work, recognizing and valuing the impact we have on the lives of those in need. He supported us in numerous ways, and before he left us, we pledged to make sure his memory lives on forever in the St. Catharines community.

The Wise Guys Charity Fund has a remarkable track record, having raised and donated over 2 million dollars to various charities in the Niagara region. Community Care had the privilege of being selected for a grant, and it was Chuck’s wish to make sure the funds went directly to our cause, which was very close to his heart.

To fulfill Chuck’s wish, and in collaboration with Chuck’s family, Wise Guys, and our grant application, we are proud to dedicate this new truck to his memory. Chuck was one of the co-founders of the Wise Guys Charity Fund, and it’s incredible to see his legacy live on through this kind act.

For over 20 years, Chuck inspired us all with his passion for giving back. The Wise Guys Charity Fund, now a recognized and registered charity, has allowed us to extend our support to every corner of the Niagara region, benefiting countless individuals and organizations. Today, we celebrate this milestone of surpassing two million dollars raised, thanks to the unwavering generosity of the people and businesses in Niagara.

We are immensely grateful to Community Care for their appreciation of the new truck, as it will significantly benefit our organization and the clients we serve. With little government funding, our reliance on community donations is crucial for us to carry out our mission. Thanks to the kind support of the Wise Guys Charity Fund and the community as a whole, we were able to secure this truck without the need for an extensive fundraising campaign.
