In commemoration of hip-hop’s golden milestone, we have partnered with Google Arts & Culture, collaborating with experts and institutions deeply rooted in the essence of hip-hop, to present a “cultural sampler” that pays tribute to the genre’s immense influence on American society. This project, consisting of 30+ curated stories and over 960 high-resolution photographs and videos from 9 cultural organizations, offers a glimpse into the key elements that define hip-hop. Join us as we delve into seven captivating stories that encapsulate the spirit and power of this groundbreaking art form.
