**Title: Revolutionizing African Poultry Farming with Digital Solutions**

**Video Description:**

Welcome to our YouTube channel where we share innovative digital solutions and explore modern perspectives on culture. We believe in harnessing the full power of technology to drive the growth of various industries. In this video, we present an inspiring story of how we bridged the gap between young developers, young entrepreneurs with groundbreaking ideas, and the agricultural sector in Togo, Bouaké, Yamoussoukro, and Gagnoa.

Join us on this journey as we showcase the “akaton” event, a hackathon-style contest focused on empowering students in Côte d’Ivoire to present digital solutions applied to agriculture. One student had a brilliant idea of formulating affordable poultry feed using local raw materials. We named the project “African Chicken Feeders” as it not only reduces production costs for farmers but also increases their income.

Before the event, we connected these young talents with rural farmers. The farmers were impressed with our application and found it to be a solution that met their needs. They not only provided valuable feedback for improvement but also shared the challenges they face in feed production, growth, and commercialization.

Start watching this video to understand how we, as students and technicians, developed an application that allows farmers to formulate their own poultry feed through a user-friendly smartphone app. Our ultimate vision is to make African chicken more accessible and affordable to the wider population, as it is currently in decline and expensive. We are determined to expand our impact to other livestock, such as cattle, and also provide business planning assistance to farmers and agro-pastoralists.

We couldn’t have achieved this without the support of the PNS and the dedication of our team, including coaches and mentors, who helped finalize the application and nurtured entrepreneurship skills. We are grateful for the financial and logistical support from the PNS, and for the collaboration with a skilled developer that allowed us to continuously enhance the app’s usability.

Throughout this journey, we witnessed the remarkable efforts of young individuals in Korhogo, showcasing their talents and passion for leveraging digital technology in agriculture. We believe that this edition will give rise to sustainable projects that will create viable enterprises, leading to job creation for the youth in Côte d’Ivoire.

Thanks to our collective efforts, we proudly secured the first position at the regional level in Korhogo, despite the challenges faced. This achievement motivated us to represent our city in the national finale in Abidjan, where we delivered an outstanding presentation among teams from other cities across the country.

Earning the third position at the national level was a moment of great pride for our team, the Institute of Management in Pastoral Grouping, and the University of Korhogo. We are delighted to empower students to become digital entrepreneurs who can provide tailored solutions to transform our agriculture sector.

Don’t miss out on this inspiring story of innovation, collaboration, and the immense potential of digital solutions in improving African poultry farming. Watch the video now!
