This goes way beyond tiktok. This bans VPNs too. America is becoming China.
idk why people are so surprised, we've known tiktok was basically Spyware since it came out…. thats why Ive never used it.
Spying is okay, targeting and subtly attacking where nobody knows is not okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry 😞 but, like as much i get spy by American companies:
– apple
– Google
– Facebook
– Microsoft
– twitter
i don't think this is fair plus Microsoft bought this but your greedy government said no to the acquisition 😮
Every one of the social medias collect your data, everyone including GOOGLE
I’m more worried about the government and the IRS and those kind of people that spy on you and use your information for whatever than I am for TikTok I have never had a problem on TikTok and if you don’t want somebody to know your business, then don’t put it on TikTok or any social media
The USA government has all reasons to be afraid. Isn't too late to effect their counter tech? Nevertheless, better too late than never.
…and China does have a massive Military…but no one is going to war with China. We just need to keep to ourselves and take care of America.
We need to protect data privacy etc. Biden has it on his list. We have no issue with China, but we MUST protect America and Americans and security like any country does. So any actions taken are responsable and reasonable and expected actions.
This bill does not mention TikTok and mentions China only once. As Rand Paul said, this is the Patriot Act on steroids. It's an extreme surveillance bill. Beware when both parties agree 99%
A whole 30 minutes and no mention of the over 110 page “Restrict Act” which the Tik Tok ban is imbedded in, that was presented as an update to the UCC code, that not only bans TikTok but bans all cryptocurrencies, is also supported by all of our banks and financial institutions, making way for the “programmable”CBDC and a system of total enslavement FINANCIAL and Social. All social media apps are spying, collecting, sharing and selling data but the worst thing is that our own government seeks to enslave us in the way that China never could! That is really a pathetic and devilish thing to attempt to do. Let’s hope this “Restrict Act” gets vetoed or amended excluding the crypto ban and any other draconian “Bill Of Rights” or Constitution shredding trickery.
Careful with this.. the next step is massive censorship of Individuals.. The government looking into your home and private business..
No, but it's a Start
