I am grateful to the Halifax Chamber of Commerce for allowing me the platform to share our journey towards sustainability and the global impact we are making at Graphite Innovation Technologies.
At GIT, we have developed innovative, eco-friendly coatings that reduce both CO2 emissions and toxins in the marine industry. Our coatings are applied to vessels, reducing fuel consumption and minimizing environmental impact.
Recently, we closed our largest financial raise to date, exceeding $10 million. This achievement speaks volumes about our commitment to making a positive difference in the world.
My passion for sustainability was instilled in me by my father, a successful entrepreneur who shifted his focus to solar energy to create a more sustainable future. His teachings inspired me to create impactful solutions alongside my business partner, Marcel Guyer.
Our goal at GIT is to reduce 4.5 million tons of CO2 emissions and one million kilograms of copper by 2030. Through our innovative technologies, we are actively working towards a cleaner, greener future for the maritime industry.
As we continue on this journey, I urge individuals to raise awareness and educate the next generation on the importance of sustainability. By making small changes in our daily lives and business practices, we can collectively make a significant impact on our environment.
