**Host**: Welcome, everyone, to our podcast where we explore the “Sport & Performance Capital” fund, launched over a year ago by Caisses d’Epargne and Center Parcs, the leading European capital innovation financing company. Today, we have Isabelle de Crémoux, President of the Board of Directors at Seventure Partners, and Thierry Lhoste, Member of the Board of Directors at Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France, responsible for Enterprises, Institutional Affairs, and Belgium.

*[00:45]*
**Host**: Let’s begin by discussing the significance of the “Sport & Performance Capital” fund. Isabelle, can you tell us more about it?

**Isabelle**: Absolutely. The “Sport & Performance Capital” fund, initially supported by Caisses d’Epargne, started with an investment of 25 million euros. Since then, the fund has grown significantly and we are on track to reach our ambition of 80 million euros in total investments.

*[01:30]*
**Host**: That’s impressive. So, what exactly does the fund invest in?

**Isabelle**: The fund primarily invests in innovative companies and startups that offer products or services related to sports innovation. This includes promoting sports activities, organizing competitions, supporting athletes in their training and performance, as well as developing and commercializing sports-related products such as apparel, footwear, and equipment. Our focus also extends to the concept of sports-at-home, which has gained even more relevance in recent times.

*[03:10]*
**Host**: Speaking of sports-at-home, it has become increasingly popular during the pandemic. How has this impacted the fund’s investments?

**Isabelle**: The theme of sports-at-home has definitely gained traction this year, and we have already invested in five French companies that cater to this trend. These companies operate in various regions of France and cater to different stages of maturity, ranging from small businesses to those with significant revenue. This year has started off strong for us, with several exciting new investment opportunities on the horizon.

**Host**: Thierry, turning to you, could you shed some light on the investment in Kinomap?

**Thierry**: Certainly. Our connection with Kinomap began with a chance encounter at the velodrome in Roubaix. Kinomap focuses on enhancing the home workout experience by providing interactive simulations. Instead of staring at your bathroom wall while on your exercise bike, you can now imagine yourself climbing the Alpe d’Huez with the help of their tablet application. This fundamentally transforms the way people engage with their home workouts and has been especially important during periods of confinement.

*[06:15]*
**Host**: Fascinating! So, what does the future hold for Kinomap and Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France?

**Thierry**: First and foremost, we are thrilled with the support and collaboration from the group. We look forward to establishing a strong relationship with Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France as we accompany the rapid growth of Kinomap. Their revenue has tripled between 2019 and 2020, and during the confinement period, they experienced a tenfold increase in active users. Our plans involve further investments in technology, expanding their product offerings to cover different sports, and tripling both their revenue and user base in 2021.

*[09:45]*
**Host**: Impressive goals! Isabelle, what can we expect from “Sport & Performance Capital” in the future?

**Isabelle**: Looking ahead to 2021 and beyond, we aim to accelerate our growth by investing in 17 new companies. We are expanding our product range to cover various sports, starting with fitness, and plan to deploy our investments internationally. We are prepared to support the next stages of funding to facilitate even greater growth and establish a strong position in the international market.

*[12:30]*
**Host**: Exciting times ahead! Thank you both for sharing your insights and plans. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the “Sport & Performance Capital” fund and its investments.
