Hello everyone! Welcome to this new video where we will discuss Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization. Today, we will learn how to build a sitemap and create a web campaign within Marketing Cloud Personalization.

Let’s start with the sitemap. A sitemap is essential for tracking user interactions on our website. By leveraging the web SDK and JavaScript integration in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, we can set up a sitemap and analyze user behavior. To initiate this process, simply copy the provided code snippet and use a plugin like Salesforce Story to pass the code. Additionally, install the “Marketing Cloud Personalization SDK” Chrome extension to load Marketing Cloud Personalization on your website through the Visual Web editor.

Once the sitemap is set up, we can configure it using the template feature in Marketing Cloud Personalization. The template will allow us to define content zones and create personalized web banners based on user behavior and demographic criteria.

Next, we move on to creating a web campaign. This involves tracking user data and events using the ready function in Marketing Cloud Personalization. By tracking specific page visits, such as the homepage or blog posts, we can gather valuable information like page type, URL, name, and image URL.

To personalize the user experience, we will create content zones using selectors, IDs, and modules. These content zones will display tailored content that matches the user’s preferences.

If you have any questions or need help with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization or the implementation process shown in this video, please leave a comment, and I’ll be happy to assist you.
