In this episode of the Randomness Museum series, I, Mayo, delve into the fascinating world of elevator buttons. The one in focus today is from Innovations Industries Incorporated and was graciously given to me by a friend. Despite a slight wiring issue, it remains in fairly good condition.

Watch as I take you through the process of examining this elevator button. By zooming in, I showcase the intricate circuit board with its two buttons, providing insights into its unique double-click sound. Although removal of the button itself is quite challenging, I demonstrate its components and promptly reassemble it.

Join me on this captivating journey through the International Museum of Randomness. Your curiosity will be piqued, and you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the innovations surrounding us every day.

Don’t miss out on this immersive experience – make sure to tune in and bid farewell to the randomness within the IMOR.

(5-4-2020) Here’s an old video I recorded for a project I started in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Museum of Randomness (IMOR for short).
Note: mayodomain.com does not work anymore. It is an old site I used to run.
Other note: I introduce myself as “Mayo” in the videos because that was my nickname at the time. I do not go by that name anymore.
