he owner of a Detroit Midtown ice cream shop apologized on Wednesday after tracking down a customer on social media for not leaving a tip.
Personally I hope this place fails
Tips for everything.
Most likely will lose some business after this stupid crap
The tipping for basic counter service is getting out of hand
Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you track down a customer and chastise her for not tipping. There are myriad reasons for not tipping, and they are all personal to the customer. Your behavior is outrageous, I will never patronize your business.
Yeah.. I'm pretty sure he received some backlash on his decision to STALK a customer
It's no apology accepted you have no business sending anybody correspondence when you don't know their financial history 🤦🏻♀️📺🙎🏻♀️
🤦🏾♀️🙄 do you have servers, busboys, etc? Or is it a business where YOU SELL the product that you buy for pennies and serve to them? Y'all want them to pay for your product and tip you for selling your product?🤔🤦🏾♀️
Yes, he wants people to tip so that he can pay his employees A LOT LESS MONEY. Tipping is intended to show appreciation for EXCELLENT service. In many other countries that is how it is done. Unfortunately, in the US it encourages employers to pay less.
When I tip I do it in cash rather than when a screen pops up and asks if you want to tip and how much — that way the owner doesnt know how much the employees are taking home.
The owner of that ice cream shop is a total bum and I will never huve him my business, just based on what he did to that customer. What an 🤬
