# Angels in America: A Must-See Production by WBZ News Evening

Are you ready to experience a mesmerizing tale of love, humanity, and politics? If yes, you should spare 3 1/2 hours of your time and head to the Central Square Theater in Cambridge to watch the new production of Angels in America.

This Tony award-winning play first hit the Broadway stage 30 years ago, but its subject matter remains timely as ever. Through the complex examination of AIDS and homosexuality in America, Angels in America is a spotlight on post-pandemic life that you cannot miss.

The play revolves around two different couples’ struggles with AIDS and their own sexual and gender identities. At the same time, it tells a story about change and our capacity to change.

You can expect an intimate experience in the 159-seat theater as you explore Lewis, a smart, Jewish man whose world is turned upside down by the AIDS crisis. However, as intense and emotional the play may be, audiences have reported feeling exhilarated and fulfilled by the experience.

Do you miss live theater as much as we do? Don’t miss the chance to see Angels in America. The show runs in Cambridge through May 28, and part two will be staged in the fall.
